Message "Ash's ecu also backs off the timing in 5th gear when the engine is under a lot of load"

Thats odd since there isn't a special map for timing in 5th only a seperate fuel map. Back to the drawing board on that :-)

"Ash's chip actually backs off timing when a problem condition is detected"

There are two spots he actually has 2 degrees more timing when it has a problem - but other than that he did good on making it safe when the computer detects an issue. Again this is looking at a 740 chip since thats all I have to compare with. You are correct that JWT doesn't do this.
